ERM were commissioned by Lowry’s Construction as mechanical sub-contractor to carry out the following works:

• De-installation of existing shell calorifiers,
• Installation of plate heat exchanger
• Installation of new steam and condensate pipework within plantrooms
• Installation of new automatic controls and modifications to existing low temperature hot water system

Downtakings, break-ins and new installation of pipe work and equipment was fully coordinated in a phased manner and agreed with Estate Services and with other trades to ensure no unplanned disruption to existing stream and LTHW Services as the hospital was fully operational whilst this work was taking place
